Raise Awareness for Mental Health Game

As Mental Health Awareness Month concludes, the Arizona Cardinals are collaborating with leading medical and advocacy organizations to host the team’s first-ever Raise Awareness for Mental Health Game. This landmark event will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at State Farm Stadium, as the Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Rams.

In addition to the on-field action, your ticket will include access to the exclusive Pre-Game Panel in the Club Level Lounge. This panel will bring together prominent voices in sports psychiatry, mental health advocacy, and former athletes to discuss the evolving landscape of mental well-being in sport.

This historic event is being held in collaboration with three nationally recognized organizations dedicated to mental health advocacy and community impact: 1. The American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF) 2. The American Board of Sports & Performance Psychiatry (ABSPP) 3. The Maricopa County Medical Society Foundation (MCMSF)

Led by Brook Choulet, M.D., President of both ABSPP and MCMS-F, the initiative underscores the growing movement to prioritize mental wellness within professional sports and society at large.

The Maricopa County Medical Society (MCMS) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on medicine and healthcare. Founded in 1966, the foundation operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. We are focused on three priorities: 1) Provide outreach to underprivileged students about careers in healthcare. 2) Leverage the medical community to educate physicians about community partners that can help with social determinants of health. 3) Provide scholarships to medical students coming from underprivileged backgrounds.

The American Psychiatric Association Foundation promotes mental health literacy, connects underserved communities to needed care, and shifts attitudes about mental health. The foundation works in your community to provide the support and resources we all need to prioritize mental wellbeing where you live, learn, work, worship, and play. Backed by the medical expertise of the APA and industry-leading strategic partners, we administer community-changing programs, public education campaigns, grants, and awards aimed at increasing mental health literacy, connecting individuals to needed care, and shifting attitudes toward mental health.

The American Board of Sports & Performance Psychiatry's mission is to empower and credential sports and performance psychiatrists who demonstrate excellence in the comprehensive care of athletes and performers, fostering mental well-being and optimal performance. Through the certification of board-certified sports and performance psychiatrists, we aim to enhance the mental health of athletes, performers, executives, and individuals striving for peak performance in their personal and professional lives.
